FileMaker Pro 7 through 16 Support
For Windows, all releases of FileMaker Pro between versions 7 and 14 are supported, and example files in both .fp5 and .fp7 format are included for your reference. For Mac, FileMaker Pro versions between 7 and 14 are supported.
Card Present Available
When you use eAuthorize 5.3 in conjunction with a mag stripe reader, you can now send Card Present transactions to the Authorize.Net gateway, ensuring the lowest transactions rates. Our example files include card swipe parsing of Track 1 and Track 2 data
Credit an amount back to a customer’s account through eAuthorize 5.3 for handling returns.
Electronic Check Processing
The plug-in supports electronic checks as well as credit card transactions. However, your merchant account must be setup to accept the forms of payment you are attempting to pass through the plug-in.
Authorize and Capture Funds
Authorize and capture funds in one simple transaction or perform an authorization first and capture the funds later as separate transactions.
Use Card Code Verification
Sending additional data, such as a card code, to the gateway helps to reduce fraud. eAuthorize 5.3 supports the use of card code verification.
You can void transactions with eAuthorize 5.3 if the original transaction has not yet settled. If settlement has passed, the plug-in can issue a credit.
Proxy Server Support
With the PayPal/Payflow Pro gateway, the eAuthorize 5.3 plug-in supports the use of a proxy server. This allows it to function from an internal network where external network connections are controlled.
Support for Authorize.net Partial Authorization Transactions
This feature will allow you to accept a split tender order, in which two or more transactions are used to cover the total amount of the order. For more information on this feature, please see the Authorize.net Guide, under the section titled Partial Authorization Transactions.
Support for Authorize.net POST method
As of July 30, 2016, Authorize.net will cease using the GET method for sending transactions in favor of the more secure POST method. eAuthorize 5.3 has been designed to support the POST method.
Re-designed To Use 64-Bit Technology
This feature allows eAuthorize 5.3 to take advantage of the benefits of 64-bit technology, which also make it compatible with current versions of Filemaker which use 64-bit.
Compatible with TLS 1.2
Authorize.net will be upgrading security from early TLS to TLS 1.2 in compliance with PCI DSS requirements on September 18, 2017. eAuthorize 5.3 is designed to process transactions using this method.
